Fast food around the world

While people in every culture love their traditional foods, food and eating habits are changing worldwide, often because of the increasing popularity of fast food. Western fast food restaurants can be found in many countries around the world.

Many people, however, find the spread of fast food restaurants a threat to their own traditional foods. Others argue that fatty western food is not healthy and can lead to health problems, such as obesity.

Nowadays, many Koreans like fast food, and there are many fast food restaurants in Korea. Fast food is spreading and influencing traditional Korean foods. Most Koreans have eaten fast food since their childhood, so they like fast foods more than traditional Korean foods. When they grow up, Korean foods might disappear.
