When some corporations advertise internationally, they sometimes have a mistake with slogans. I think they often fail in advertising their products because they don't respect other countries' cultures. If corporations paid attention to other cultures, they would succeed in selling their products easily.

Advertisers need to understand other countries' cultures and languages. If they don't understand, they will become bankrupt. It can be that same thing here, that its meaning is different in another country.

In the world, there are many kinds of languages. Each language is different, but the origin of language is sometimes the same. However, the meaning of the same word, is sometimes different. So, the meaning of a slogan will change. If the company makes a new slogan, they should make sure about that point.

For example, Kia which is Korean auto-mobil company try to get in to some where near Jordan. However, they even get chance to advertise their product, because Kia means devil in their words. Without research their culture they can't expect success.

Suppose you are a company owner. When you make your commercials, you should have to consider cultural differences. It is easy, but we tend to forget this. Every country has its own culture, especially language. Some words have different meanings in different countries. If you want to sell efficiently, you should remake words to sure your meaning is clear.
